ELEPHANT CARBON
Conserve majestic super-tusker elephants in the shadow of Kilimanjaro
A super-tusker is an elephant with tusks so long they touch the ground. The last place these magnificent giants roam is in Tsavo, Kenya, right in the shadow of Kilimanjaro. This project uses carbon credits to keep habitat intact in important elephant migratory routes. The revenue also funds sustainable development in local communities, alleviating poverty and building goodwill for conservation. Keeping migratory routes open and connected is one of the top conservation priorities globally. Long may big tusked giants roam the African savannahs.
